‘murica Deck – Richie’s Standard Deck

Narset
Hey guys, it's Richie here with a new deck to take a look at. This deck is a homebrew
design that we have had since Khans first came out. When I first saw Narset I was
impressed. This card had a lot of potential. Exiling top 4 cards of your deck when
you attack and then being able to cast the non-creatures for free can completely turn the
tides in any match. You also get to cast any instants before your opponent can
declare blockers. Doing this means if you exile a Jeskai Charm or a Lightning Strike
then you could take out one of their potential blockers or combine it with her first
strike to take down some big staples right now such as Butcher of the Horde or
Siege Rhino.

This build utilizes very little creatures and the ones it does are harder to get rid of. Keranos, God of Storms and Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker both being indestructible and add additional punishment to the field. Chandra, Pyromaster really is a champ here. By either hitting your opponent and not allowing a blocker, or exiling something that was seen with a scry land can really be helpful and get the extra card you really need. The only deck this build struggles against pre-sideboard is rabble red builds. They can be dealt with but without some creature removal or board wipe, as it is when anyone is facing a rabble red deck, it is usually over not long after that. With all the creature removal main board you are bound to slow anything down. And there is only more in the sideboard. Well there you have it folks. The new build that can handle any deck out there. Sound off in the comments with your advice and we will see you next time. ~Richie
